FASHION THROUGH THE AGES 6e

That's the title of unit 5.  6th graders are learning about how fashion has changed through the ages.
In the 19th century, adverts had a lot of text.
After the 19th century, most clothes adverts had illustrations; and after the 1950s, adverts had colour photos.
We have been designing some posters about fashion in the 19th century.
Some of them are really original and creative.
Enjoy the works !

One day Billy Bones, a pirate, comes into the pub and he dies with a treasure map in his hands. Jim looks at the map and decides to go to Treasure Island. Of course he needs a ship. Jim meets Captain Long John Silver, and the Captain offers to take him on his ship.
But who is really the Captain ? And what is going to happen in the Island ? Who is Ben ?

You can discover all these secrets looking at the photos and asking your sons and daughters about the end of the play.

SWEDISH PROJECT

The Swedish project continues!
This second term we prepared an interview to our partner school.

First, we spoke about Sweden and looked up for some information about this country. Then, we decided what we want to learn about them and each one of the students wrote a question. Once we had everything ready, we voted for our favourite questions and each class chose three of them.
Finally, we recorded a video with our “interview” and sent it to the Swedish school.

Also, the Swedish teachers and students did the same and we received a very interesting interview too!
Now, it’s time to listen to all the questions and answer them.

Let’s keep up the good work!
